Emo hair is shocking rubbishness at its peak. It follows a general trend:

• Long parts called 'bangs' that hang over one eye stopping proper vision. This looks 'cool'.
• Dark brown or black in colour.
• Sometimes has splashes of illuminous colour such as pinks, yellows, greens, etc.
• Asymetrical - one eye covered with long hair and perhaps a short patch at the back and to one side.

All this has one goal: To be individual.

That's right. All these emo kids make their hair basically the same in order to assert their individuality. Now that is real irony.

This style was copied from Manga - a style of Japanese cartoon.
